Could you please tell me if your suggestion to export from OE better that
importing from MS Outlook (MSO) is due to a problem with dates of sent
messages?

I tried to import OE messages using MSO's wizard, but the problem I had is
that my sent messages were left in MSO with the date the import operation was
done and not with the actual sent date.

I mean, how can I solve this problem?

Importing from Outlook Express using Outlook changes the time stamps on
messages to the time of import. Exporting to Outlook from within Outlook
Express preserves time stamps.

Delete the messages in Outlook and export them from Outlook Express.
