Win2PDF on Terminal Server

Hi,

we currently deploy a Windows 2000 Terminal Server and
with win2pdf there is a special Terminal Server license.
This license is very expensive - is it possible to buy a
standalone license for our Terminal Server and keep the
program working? Or is the software programmed to exactly
following its licensing program (ie. if 2 licenses are
bought and a 3rd user wants to use it simultaneously it
will not work for the 3rd user)?

Thanks for reply.

You'd be better off asking the manufacturer of win2pdf what their license
involves.

As Doug Steele indicates you are better off asking the folks at Dane
Prairies Systems about their licensing requirements, however, I would guess
that are likely to violate the single workstation license if the Win2PDF
printer is shared among multiple users on a terminal server.

Hi.

I am the italian distributor of Win2PDF. I have contacted technical support
and here is the answer to the problem:

"The TSE version is licensed per server, with no restrictions on the number
of users. If, for example, Win2PDF TSE is loaded on 3 servers, 3 licenses
would be required -- no matter how many users were connected."
