Windows 2000 Thesaurus Problem - PLEASE HELP!

OS: Windows XP Tablet PC Edition 2005
Version 2002, Service Pack 2
App: Word 2000 (9.0.6926 SP-3) SR-1 Standard

We are having a problem with the thesaurus in Word 2000. At Federated
Insurance we have some people that speak french and as such have changed the
language settings to French (Canada.) Whenever they try to use the thesaurus
(only when the language is set to french) it crashes windows (when the
language is set to english it works fine). Please help as this will become a
bigger problem as more and more of our french users begin using thier new
laptops.

Hi Colin,

You may want to also post this in the Word Spelling & Grammar
newsgroup (link below). If I recall correctly there was
an issue with using the French settings and the folks there
may be more familiar with the resolution where you're not
using the Office 2000 Multilanguage Pack Enterprise/Volume
license edition.
