Windows 98 German vs Windows 98/XP

Hello,

I have XP & a Windows 98 Cd but need to install an English version onto a PC
because it is the Windows 98 German version.

Can anyone give me any suggestions on how to reboot the pc to Windows
English version 98 or XP?
