Windows Mail Live disrupted login/password in Outlook 2003

Alan Taylor

I tried the Windows Mail Live Beta and it failed to perform correctly. I
opted out and returned to my original MSN/Hotmail configuration successfully.
However -- from the time I initially tried the "Windows Mail Live" I have
been unable to access my MSN Mail via POP3 in Outlook 2003. Here is the error.
I have checked and re-entered all settings and passwords to no avail.

Task 'MSN Mail - Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC0F) : 'The connection to
the server was interrupted. If this problem continues, contact your server
administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'

What did it do???

I need Outlook 2003 back.

MSN no longer offers pop service. If you had it grandfathered, it's likely
moving to the live servers disabled pop. you'll need to contact msn to get
it restored.
