Windows ME and Windows XP Function of key F2 is different

When I used EXCELL with Windows ME and wanted to alter a formula in a cell I
pressed F2 and was able to make alterations to the formula. Now, with
Windows XP I Can't. I'd like to be able to make alterations as I could in
Windows ME.

The keys haven't changed. F2 still works. Do you have a multi-media keyboard
that reassigns the function keys? I do, and unless I enable standard function
keys, F2 is Undo.

Information only.............

Jason Tsang has a couple of .REG files that will allow you to reverse the
default behaviour of the F Lock key.

One will change the default to "Off".

Both have an Undo.REG file with them.
