Windows Update Won't Install Non Criticals

S

SJH

In Windows 98 the Windows Update originally allowed me to install the
critical updates, but now when I try to install non-critical updades when I
click on ADD the "total items selected" remains at Zero, so when I click
review and install nothing happens.

BTW I reinstalled IE 6 and now there two critical updates to install and
when I click on "review and install" nothing happens.

What's wrong?

Thanks,

SJH

No idea - but here's a thought for you. Why don't you try posting in the
correct place, then you might receive some proper assistance, rather than
sarky ones like this. This group is concerned with Office. Suggest you
repost in a group pertaining to your operating system.
