Winmail.dat files

I really can't believe Entourage cannot open winmail.dat files. After all,
it is Microsoft's packing format.

Is there a utility that will open these and unpack them on a Mac?

TNEF¹s Enough, by Josh Jacob, allows you to extract and read these files and
attachments.

Better still, contact your correspondent and ask them to reset their mail
format from the (MS proprietary) "Rich Text" to either "Plain Text" or
"HTML. If they have you in their Outlook Address Book they can make a
setting to always send you Plain Text automatically.

You can find answers to your questions on the Entourage Help Page:

I have tried to set my "print" font at 7 so it will show up on my smaller
calendars I print--but it always seems to print the same font, same size.

Any thots?

Thanks. Unfortunately, it did not work on this attachment. (I was able to
get the attachment, a Word document, using Outlook on an XP machine, but
that is a BIG hassle.)

True, but this is usually akin to telling a 2 year-old to use the bathroom
instead of a diaper. They simply do not understand, and I am tired of potty
training PC users. Both programs come from Microsoft, why can't they just
work?

Sigh.
