Word 2000 printing in reverse

Whenever I check in Tools, Word is always set to print in reverse. If I
un-check reverse printing the next time I look it is checked again. How can I
un-check reverse printing and make it default.

Does it help if you change the print sequence in Start | Control Panel |
Printers | <right-click on your printer> | Properties?

Another possibility... If Word does not retain your settings in Tools |
Options, it could mean that your Word data key in the Windows registry is
damaged. Try deleting the Settings value in the Data key (or the whole Data
key) as described in http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/MissngMenusEtc.htm.
