word 2000 - Stopping users formfields resetting in a form

A

Anne

I have created a form which users may have to add more fields to. When they
unprotect and then protect again they loose data. I copied a macro code from
an MVP site (word.mvps.org/faqs/) - I can copy it here if it's any help, and
added it to 'toolsprotectunprotectdocument' and 'protectform' command.
However, it's not working - I get a message saying that macros aren't
enabled. What should I do now? Can you help please?

As the message indicates, you have to enable macros. Go to Tools >
Macro > Security and set the level to Medium. When you open the form,
you'll get a message with three buttons: Disable Macros, Enable
Macros, and Cancel. Click the Enable button, and the macros will work.
