I'm setting up a rather large document with an index. I've
done this in the past & it works fine. I thought I would
add a hyperlink to each page # in the index to quickly
navigate through the document. This works OK until you add
to and update the index, then all links are lost. Is there
a way to work around this? Thanks Jim

Hi Jim

Word has no built-in way to put links in an index. But lots of people have
asked Microsoft for such a feature. You can add your voice by emailing
(e-mail address removed). Put the word Word in the subject, explain what you'd
like to see, and what kinds of work you would be doing that would need this
functionality.
