word 2000

I had to reinstall my xp but when i went to word 2000 it asked me for a 25
character cd key which i dont have becouse mine came already installed from
dell. the cd came in a plain white cd folder. What am i supposed to do?

You would also have received from Dell a Certificate of Authenticity on
which the cd key that you now need would be shown. If you can't find that,
you will have to contact Dell of a replacement.

The plain white CD folder has a Certificate of Authenticity pasted inside.
The CD key is printed on that certificate.
