I have a user who has created a table, with several columns. The column she
wants to sort by contains values such as "undated", "January 1, 2005" (single
date), January 1, 2005 - January 31, 2006 (date range) so the "values" are
not consistent. When she uses the sort feature, Word puts "extra" dates in
some of the cells (mainly the cells which have a value such as "January 1,
2005"). It looks something like "January 1, 2005Undated" (with undated being
put in when it wasn't there) She is sorting by "date".
Is this normal, or should the sort parameters be "tweaked" somehow?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
