Word 2003 changes the namespace of my XML file

W

W. Schindler

I open a XML-File with my own namespace.
Let us call it wes.
If I save the file the namespace sign wes is replaced by NS0.
So all the attributes starts now with NS0:.

I still need my namespacedeclaration wes.

OK I can save it over XSLT which changes it back.
But thats not a nice solution.

Is there any possibility to change the behaviour of WORD 2003 ?

Thanks Werner

No, I don't think there is; you'd need to use XSLT when saving.
But you can try asking in the office.xml newsgroup whether anyone
there has an alternative.
