Hi all,
I’m using the “Protect Document†feature of Word to prevent user from
editing some regions of a document.
I don’t want user to be aware of the underlying protection process so I
disabled the highlighting of editable regions and created a “ToolsProtectâ€
macro to hook the “Unprotect document†menu and prevent “Protect documentâ€
panel from being displayed.
This works well except when the user starts typing text in a protected area.
In this case the “Protect document†panel is automatically displayed
bypassing the “ToolsProtect†macro.
Is there a way to disable this feature?
Thanks for your help,
