"word 2003" inserted .jpg pictures print as black square

When printing to newer HP DeskJet (HP Deskjet 5650, PSC 1600), a .jpg file
inserted as a picture in any Office 2003 product (Word, Excel) prints as a
black square.

The same .jpg file will print fine to the same printer if Office 2002 (XP)
or Office 2000 is used.

I have "Googled" this and found the question asked by other people and they
did not get an aswer.

Help.

I went to hp and asked them your question and they suggested to update your
drivers from their site. I don't know if this will help but it's worth a
shot.
