I have a biz card made in Publisher I'd like to print from Word because that's where I have the template from Avery for their stock. (Avery does not offer templates for Publisher

I can't save that .pub in anything Word will recognize and I can't embed a .pub document in a Word template..

Any ideas...?

What template number are you using?

Just make the card size to suit in Publisher.

The HELP file explains it all.

Publisher has its own ability to print biz cards with
custom margins. That may be your easiest way out.

The stock is 8879 but it says 8371 is good too. (10 2"x3-1/2" cards in 5 rows/two columns)

I see that in page setup but it allows only 1 across and 4 down... in'Print Multiple Copies per Sheet' Option...

Gotcha. Go to http://www.kvalheim.org and visit the tutorial section. It
shows you how to do what you need. I also have some business card templates
listed under the templates section.

Thanks!

Went there, grabbed the Avery 8371 kayout (your Avery Biz card 10 up.pub) I tried to paste my .pub card, tried to drag it, tried to insert as a file object... all to no avail.
Any more detailed instructions?

What seems to be the problem?
You should have no problem copying and pasting - you can open up both files
side-by-side, and copy from one to the other.

catch,

Did exactly that, opened both and tried to populate the template with the card... tried every way I could think off, but I could not copy the whole of it: I have a watermark on a master page and that did not get picked up..

I went back to printing from Publisher and found out that if I use labels, Publisher has in there the main templates for printing fr0m their stock and I found one that worked

Thanks to all!

Master pages will not copy unless you go to the master page :) Glad you
found one that will work!
