Word as default e-mail editor

When I select "use Microsoft Word as your e-mail editor" and try to start an
e-mail, I get a message that Word is either busy or can not be found.
Outlook Editor is opened instead.

I am running Outlook XP (all components installed at the same time) with
Windows XP.
