Help!

I'm trying to use Word 2002 and Outlook 2002 on a new xp
box. When i try to create a new message I get an error
saying "this form requires Word as your Email editor, but
Word is eithre busy or cannot be found."

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

I assume you actually do have Word installed on the machine. What happens
if you just start Word on its own? Does it come up o.k.?

go to web with your browser and save the page to you document folder. close
browser. open word. open file saved earlier. either word will open
file[then word is your html editor] or you get a msg that word is not your
editor do you want to make it so ...say yes. close word . open browser
and under options ...program tab see what is choices for mail and editor.
select word for editor and outlook 2002 or outlook express [your choice for
mail] note in oe or outlook you also need to set selected program as
default.

One of the SPs for Office XP fixes this - I forget if it is 1 or 2 but I am
leaning towards SP-2.
