Word crashes when pasting to a box from clipboard

When a user tries to use the drawing tool to create a box and then paste a
..jpg to the box, Word stops responding.
I have reloaded office XP and done SP3 as well.
We thought it may be a profile issue, so we nuked her profile on the machine.
The document is not corrupted as she can do the copy and paste to the box on
another machine.

Any ideas?
