Word doc attachment opens with 0 bytes.

Have received multiple Word docs from another Entourage 2004 user which, on receipt, show the size of the attachment (43KB or so), but when the attachment is opened in Word, it is 0 bytes, no content. When the same attachment is received in Mail, it opens correctly. When the sender sends to himself, it opens correctly. And when I forward the attachment I received in Mail to myself in Entourage, via the same servier, I experience the same problem--a zero byte document. Seems to me the problem has to be in my Entourage set up. Pls help.

Do you see a yellow bar at the top of the message indicating you need to
download the entire message?

No, no yellow bar, no indication to download anything. And FYI, the server is a POP.

Try this: In your Account Settings... for that account, select the Options
tab and uncheck the box labeled "Partially receive messages over".

If you still have a copy of that original email from the Entourage 2004 user
that contains the Word attachment, would it possible to send me that email
directly to huchinATmicrosoftDOTcom (please modify accordingly)? It'd be
best to zip up the email before attaching it to prevent it from being
modified by email servers. Thanks!
