Word does not fill screen when maximized.

When I maximize Word it does not fill the entire screen. There is a gap at the top. The gap varies in size each time I open Word. If I minimize, or click restore down (un-maximize), and then click maximize again the gap is the same size. The gap only changes in size when I restart Word. The gap is alway at the top, never on the bottom or the sides

Although it doesn't appear to affect the functionality, it is VERY annoying.
