word does not see entourage categories

I am trying to sort labels according to category and the Entourage categories do not show up. How do I add a category to query options-or what else can I do?

I assume you are using Word's mail-merge feature?

Unfortunately, the mail merge in word does not access the category
property in the address book (probably partly because you can have more
than one category per contact)

You could try using one of the custom property fields in the address
book instead of categories to organise your labels. A script could
quickly copy the pertinent info across from one field to the other.
