Word Email Merged Documents Hangup in Outlook

I'm currently running MS Office 2000 SP3 / on XPro and performing an email
merge from Word. When he batched emails land in my Outlook outbox they get
hungup until they timeout.

I can send regular emails from Outlook successfully and the same email batch
works fine on my computer at work with the same SW/HW config and versions.

This is driving me nutty.....Any Ideas or suggestions would be greatly
appreciated
