Word INSERT menu should include ADDRESS, (taken from Outlook AB)

Inserting a single address from an address book (eg Outlook) into a screen
document (as opposed to printing it on a label or envelope) in WORD does not
seem to be possible.

This should be allowed for using the INSERT menu, with default access to
Outlook or 'Browse' for other compatible address books - (perhaps with a file
location defined under Tools/Options/File locations)

The insert address button on the standard toolbar does this. If the button
is not present, add it using tools > customize.

This works only if you have Outlook selected as your default mail client
(many of us don't). It used to work regardless of mail client.
