Word should work in landscape on a custom paper size

When a custom paper size is created in Word it does not seem to work properly
in landscape mode. It forces either the left or right margin to be large.
As an example I tried to make a custom paper size 8.75" wide and 5.75 " high
and print in landscape mode. Each time I attempted this Word insisted one of
the margins was outside the printable area and forced the right margin to
3.35". If I chose to ignore it, it would let me make the edits but only
print to its percieved right margin. I eventually picked the "Organizer L"
paper size 8.5 x 5.5 and it worked fine (except my paper was 8.75 x 5.75) in
landscape with the margins set to 0.5 inch.

This is most likely a printer driver issue. If the printer is an HP LaserJet
(and especially if the margin setting is 3.67"), see
