word template - linking text form fields

I would like to create a link in a document similar to excel - where I can
type a phrase or number in a text form field and it will also then appeared
in another text form field. Is this possible to do? Or is there another
method to do this?

Hi,
If i am not wrong you want to link the field which will automatically
update the other. If it so please copy the field and place where you want
the field to be update automatically.First copy the field then
Go to
edit> paste special> Unforamtted text >click ok
..The matter wriiten in the main field will automatically retrieved on the
copied field. Basically its a link between the two fields.
Please let me know the result
