word will not work as e-mail editor/Outlook 2002

When I first set up outlook my e-mail editor was word and
now when I try to send a message I receive a window that
says "This form requires Word as your e-mail editor, but
Word is either busy or cannot be found. The form will be
opened in the Outlook editor instead. The program for the
attatchment may not have been installed properly or may
have been moved or deleted. Reinstall the program in which
the attatchment was created." I have tried the detect &
reapir and the mail format option but for somereason I
have had no luck. The box in the mail format always clears
itself. Can someone please help me with this? I am getting
real frustrated.
