Workbook window tiling

When I have many workbooks open (20+) the vertical tiling on the taskbar at
the bottom doesn't work properly in that when you select the workbook you
want it doesn't switch.

This means that you have to go to the Window Menu and choose More Windows
which is annoying when you are switching between. Any suggestions why this
doesn't work or what a good shortcut may be? Thanks
