I'm using entourage 2004 for the Mac, I used to use the mail program
for my mac and i have a school account and a home account. When I
would go home I could receive my school mail on at my home but I was
unable to send throught the school account. I then changed some
settings and I was able to reveive school mail and then use my home
server settings to send a reply. I have been searching and trying to
figure this out using entourage. As of now I can come home and get my
mail from my school account. When I go just sits in the outbox because
of the server settings. How can I fix this?
Thanks

The "Sending mail" info requires your ISP info. You enter your school
account info for "Receiving mail", but for the account info at home you must
use your home ISP. This keeps spammers from using an account as a relay.

You don't mention whether you have this account set up for a POP or IMAP
account. I might suggest using IMAP so you can keep your data synced.

Info on setting up an account can be found here:

<http://www.entourage.mvps.org/accounts/index.html>

I have the account set up as POP, so what your saying is that in
receiving I put my school ISP info and then in the sending mail I put
my home information?

I have never set up an account using IMAP so how do you go about doing
that?

thanks
