Worksheet not accepting formulas

I'm having a problem with a particular Worksheet. It is treating formulas as text.
e.g., input =C2*C3 in formula bar, the result in the cell is =C2*C3
I have cleared all formats, reformated particular cells, etc.
Any ideas?

Hi Myriam!

Tools > Options > View
Uncheck "Formulas"

Or use:

Ctrl + ~

Which is a toggle for turning this feature on and off and the probable
cause of your problem.
