This is something I have been thinking about often, however it would be very
helpful to be able to COPY (CTRL-C) all the “TEXT†in a DIALONG BOX so that I
can paste the text into an e-mail or web page for searching.
This afternoon I encountered a weird error dialog box in Excel and I had to
manually type in the error message into the TEXT BOX so I could search the
Microsoft Knowledge base for an answer. At first, there were NO search
results, however I noticed that I made a “typoâ€. I fixed the “typo†and
easily found the answer to my issue.
Are there some technical reasons why you cannot copy the TEXT on most DIALOG
boxes?
Just wondering?
Maybe I am missing something….
