In the Microsoft help it states the Office Assistant has been dropped. I
would like to see it brought back.

I miss the office assistant, too. it seems like a lot of the "fun" things
have been taken out of Vista and the newer versions of Windows. I still like
some of the little fun things. It made doing things a bit more enjoyable.
Please bring back some of the fun things you use to have.

Err Office is for WORK, not "fun", and is not Vista. Most people are
glad that the stupid "assistants" have been dropped...

Ah, but you never tried Flicker from the Microsoft Agent's ring, did you?

I still have him in my Front Page 2003 application.

Gordon, Maybe you think Vista is for work, but do you ever do anything else
on it? Do you watch news? Do you read interesting articles? If you don't ,
then you are missing out on just why they updated Vista---to give us more of
what most people want more of. Just because we use Vista to do our work does
not mean we have to give the things we like. In fact, I find you comments to
be just a little sarcastic.

If you want to use it for "work ony" go ahead, but please don't get on to
us because we happen to enjoy our "work" with a few "extra fun things".
