Writing a letter is hard

So I want to write a letter to someone who is in the Entourage address book. There is no 'write a letter' button. I open Word, copy the address from Entourage using the special button, and paste into the right place in Word. If I paste normally I get wrongly formatted text. If I choose paste special I still get wrongly formatted text - the paragraph spacing is all wrong and needs to be corrected.
But if I paste unformatted into a Pages letter it works OK - the font is correct and so is the line spacing. Seems an awful lot of work just to write a letter - I think I will be sticking with Pages for the time being.

Use Paste | Special as Unformatted Text in Word, not Styled Text.

Or, after pasting wrongly, a little clipboard icon should show up. Hover
over it, click, and select Keep Text Only.

As I said - I did use paste special. The font comes out fine. The leading is all wrong.

Can you help me understand why you're using Entourage in this process?
Are you composing a new E-mail message or a new document for printing
and sending via postal mail?

Dead basic really. I want to write a letter (not an email) to someone in the entourage address book. From what I recall of Office on Windows (which is hazy) there was some routine where you clicked on an address and said - write this guy a letter. It then launched Word and inserted the address in the right place (and I think it printed envelopes easily too).
But allI'd really like to do is get the address into the letter without a lot of hassle. Haven't worked out how - or why an unformatted paste of the address gives me the wrong line spacing.

When you use Paste Special, there are two options in the dialog. Select
the other option--Unformatted Text vs. Styled Text.

I did what you said you did (as far as I could figure it out), and the
Unformatted Text option in Paste Special worked for me.

Using the Paste Options clipboard to select Keep Text Only also gets me
the default font with no line spacing.

You can also use the Contacts toolbar in Word itself to access your
contacts in Entourage. Use the field to enter a name, then with the
cursor in the name, click on Include Address.

In my test, it comes out using the default formatting in the document.
