I have created a number of two variable data tables in Excel 2003 each of
which are large (20 x 40) and complicated (results dependent on IRR function
driven by underlying financial data).
I noticed that the table results looked odd because I expected the lines in
my resulting graph to have the same slope. As part of my troubleshooting, I
changed the assumptions so the two table results should have been identical.
However, even though the input rows (rows containing the IRR cash flows) were
identical, the table results were not identical.
I also adjusted the calculation iterations to make sure that wasn't the
problem. Any suggestions as to why I am getting erroneous table results?
Thanks in advance for your assistance.
