WTF: Entourage 2004 is deleting messages from exchange...

and copying them down to the local computer.
It seems to be only mail forwarded from another mail account to my
exchange account.
this also happens on only one mac, the other is working fine.
I have deleted the "rule" file and still this happens.

Be careful with rules (I'm saying that because I made similar mistakes at one
point)... If you use "move" in the rule and move the e-mail to a folder on
your computer, it indeed is deleted from the Exchange account and placed on
the local folder. You should use Copy inthe rule instead.
Make sure you don't still have a rule in the Exchange category that might
move messages around.

Also, you may want to check your Mailing List Manager to see if there
is anything there that may be creating havoc.
