XP Pro password change, changes outlook 2003 password

Hi,

We got new machines at work for some users, XP Pro and Office 2003.
When users are forced to change their network password, outlook then
forgets their e-mail password (or is changing it to their network
password?) How can I stop that from happening? Either there isn't much
out there about that 'feature' or I am not using the proper search terms.
