XP Viewer

Hi,

Thanks for all the help with the music.... worked great

I have created a PP in XP and when I send to people with earlier versions of
PP, they loose the slide timing I created in XP.

Does MS have a viewer for users with PP but earlier versions from XP that
will allow them to view the slide show with the slide timing and other
features of XP ? The viewers shown by MS seem to be for those without PP and
the files are larger than I would like to use in email ?

Users with any version(s) of PowerPoint installed can still use the PowerPoint
2003 Viewer, located at

It may be larger than you like, but if it were smaller it wouldn't do what you
want. <G>

However, PowerPoint doesn't do a good job of synchronizing timings, so the
Viewer may not be the answer for you. The problem may just be the differences
in available system resources. See

There's not any kind of "add-on viewer" to make earlier versions of PPT show
new animations. Best bet is to just send them to the link for the PPT 2003
Viewer and let them download and install it.

The install file is under 2MB, though.
