I'm one school curator in a district of 32 schools. I keep having a
recurring problem, and the other curators are not encountering this problem.
During a session of upgrading pages and saving (publishing), all of a sudden
I get a server busy
error ("XXX server is busy...), and an error saying that the server has been
moved or is not available. Of course, this usually happens at night, and I
have to wait to get our Technician, who oversees the servers, to restart the
server the next day to get me operating again. This happens more frequently
than anyone would like, but not with ever session.
It seems to happen most when I am deleting files from the web folder, or
have been at it for a few hours. He is really trying to figure out what is
going on, but we're stumped. He seems to
feel that it is due to the size of my web folder. I am not deleting multiple
things at once. I save quite often as I work, and this is when I notice the
error. It also completely locks up either my school machine or my home
machine
when it happens, and I must kill my power...UGH!
Any ideas, please? What can I be doing wrong? Thanks!
