Youngs' Modulus

Hi
Can soemone please send me an example of any spread sheet using youngs'
Modulous?

i've been given a set of data and i have to figure out the youngs'
modulous of that data. With this is an attached file of the spread
sheet

Noushy,

This sounds an awlful lot like a civil or mechanical engineering homework
assignment.

Youngs Modulus is simply stress over strain.

You know the strain for force exerted over the area?

Just need to plot now strain versus force divided by area to determine your
Young's Modulus.

It's been a long time since I have used strain gauges to determine stresses
and strains. It was fun though.

As an aside, most of us here will not open workbooks or spreadsheets for
fear that it might be malicious.
