Actual Costs disappear when saving and publishing to Project Serve

Has anyone experienced Actual Cost entries (i.e. non calculated resource cost
assignments) disappearing from an Enterprise Project file following a save
and publish to project server? Is there a location where I can discover all
formula which may impact on the Actual Costs field?

Hi Mike

I do not think this is a project server problem as it is the project file
itself which is affected and not the project server database which retains
the planned and actual costs information, thus proving that such information
was originally input.

Any assistance or reference would be greatly appreciated as I cannot
progress to adopt project in a commercial environment until I understand or
resolve this issue.

Many thanks.

Hi Ian,

Well... this group is for the Standard version, and as I have no server, I
cannot respond for the Enterprise version and its relationship with your
server. All I can suggest is some corruption - you could try the
suggestions in FAQ Item: 43. Handling project file corruption and/or bloat,
though I'm not sure this applies to the Enterprise version. Failing that,
post on the server newsgroup as I previously suggested.

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at
this web address:http://project.mvps.org/faqs.htm

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)
