Analysis Services: Query could not be processed Error

Hi,

I have a MSProject Server 20007 running with SQL 2005 SP2. I was able to
configure the cube building process and generated the cube data.

I then tried to create a data analysis view. However, this will only work if
I do this on the virtual mchine itself. Opening the view also only works when
opened on the machine itself. Trying to open or define the view from a remote
machine does not work. When opening the view I get the error: 'Query could
not be processed, Server Too busy or not started' in the pivottable grid.
When trying to define the view from a remote machine it seems that the
connection with the data analysis server can not be established.

I've read a couple of threads which describe problems very similar to what
I'm experiencing. However none of these threads seem to provide me with a
suitable answer. Hope I am lucky this time.

Kurt:

You need to setup your client to connect to Analysis Services 2005. Here are
the steps:

Set IE Security to allow access to data across domains
Download and isntall XML 6.0 upgrade (Vista installs with this)
Download and install the Analysis Services 9.0 OLE DB Provider

Hi Gary,

I already had performed the three steps you listed. Sorry... Thanks for the
effort anyway. Perhaps you have some other suggestions?

Kurt
