Cannot Empty Clipboard

Using XP Professional Office 2003

I cannot empty clipboard. I tried "Run clipbrd" and it went berserk; wild
scrolling. It appears that 21 items are stuck on the clipboard.

Is clipboard a feature of Office or Windows?

I need help.

Disregard
I found another post with same problem. No solution, but caused by
connection to another PC to share keyboard and screen.
