I am getting "cannot empty Office clipboard" alarm

I am getting a prompt that says "cannot empty clipboard" yet clipboard is
empty and I cannot empty it nor see anything in it for Excel ( where I am
getting prompt) , Word or Outlook. So I cannot copy and paste. I tried Detect
and repair for Excel, no change so I am stumped.

What is happening when you encounter the message? Are you starting Excel?
Are you trying to copy? What version of Office are you using?

this launch your clipbaord program.
You will see a minimized window.
Maximize it and delete all the contents if there is any.
