Can't install office 2007 "no products affected by this package...

I receive the following message when attempting to install Office 2007 and am
unable to complete the installation: "There are no products affected by this
package installed on this system" -> Does anyone have a resolution to this
problem...? Thank you very much!

What type (like "Professional" or "School" "OEM" etc. and what version (Like
Vista or XP)?

The OS is windows XP professional and the Office version is either standard
or professional.

What Service pack have you installed? Office 2007 needs XP SP2 or later....

I suppose the next Q would be where did you obtain the Office cd's, and how
exactly are they described, on the cd?

That particular error usually comes from something the Office 2007 Service Pack 1 (SP1) update CD, rather than Office 2007 itself,
when Office 2007 is not already on the system, or if the MS Office Access 2007 Runtime is the only product on the system.
