Can't See Exchange Calendar or Address Book Info - But Can Send/Receive eMail

Processor: Intel
Email Client: Exchange

So, I have connected to the Exchange server, everything works great for sending/receiving email and calendar/meeting requests.

The problem I have is that when I am trying to schedule a meeting with other Exchange users I cannot see their calendar to determine their availability. Also, I cannot see our corporate address book.

The odd thing is that I can see the corp address book, etc on my iPhone.

I have used this copy of Entourage with an Exchange server at a previous company. Is it possible that somewhere in the bowels on Entourage, there is some setting that is directing Entourage to look for that server to retrieve calendar and address book info?

For accessing your corporate address book Entourage connects to your GC
(Global Catalog) server. Make sure that you have the LDAP server settings
set correctly in the advance tab in Entourage accounts settings.

As per your email I believe that you are accessing your emails from outside
using OWA URL, if thats the case than you cannot access the company's
address book as your GC is not published to the internet (general settings
due to security reasons). If I am correct than your workaround is
OWAGALSearch and you can download it from here

For the availability service we need to know the exchange server version
your company is using. If its an exchange 2003 than free n busy relies on
public folders. make sure that you have public folder server settings set
correctly in Entourage. If its an Exchange 2007 SP1 then free n busy relies
on availability service.

thanks,
Pawan
