Whenever I use the Command Button wizard to automatically create code behind
a button on my form, there is never any actual code created. Is this a known
bug? Or am I doing something wrong?

What version of Access? If it is 2007, chances are that it is generating a
macro, instead of code.

I'm Using Access 2007, fully patched as of 02/09/2009.

It's probably creating macro instructions like you suggested. I'll check
that. Is there any way to get the Command Button Wizard to generate VBA
instead of a macro? I do everything in VBA... too afraid in the future macros
will get on Microsoft's extinction list even though with 2007 they decided to
promote macros again.

I just turn off the wizard and write the code myself.

Haven't used the wizard for years; never did like the code it generated.

I've seen this question before and, while I can't remember who answered it,
at the time I recognized it as someone who would know, and the answer, sad to
say, is no. You're stuck with the Wizard creating Macros or writing the code
yourself.
