Configuring office every time I open

I have a laptop that is running VIsta Business and Office 2007. I recently
uninstalled Office 2007 Basic and installed Office 2007 Enterprise. Now any
time I open an Office Ap I get a a window saying configuring windows. This
usually takes several minutes. When I Open Excel I get a popup box that says
stdole32.tlb. I uninstalled and tried to reinstall but no luck the same
thing happens. The only post online that I have found that fixed the issue
was some guy reinstalled his whole computer. I really don't want to go that
far. I hope someone can help.
