Configuring Project Server Gateway

Andy

I am trying to get my Portfolio Server 2007 to talk to my Project Server 2007
via the Project Server Gateway. I am trying to test the connection by adding
a Mapping Template in Attribute Mapping Template Management.

Here is the message I get:
The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a
receive.

Here is my platform:
Same/One physical server running Windows Server 2003, SQL Server 2005, SQL
Reporting Server 2005, Office SharePoint Server 2007, Project Server 2007,
and Project Portfolio Server 2007. The server is in a domain and users
connect to it externally (i.e. are in a different, but trusted, domain). NO
VIRTUAL ANYTHING.

Here is what my configuration looks like:
PPS AppPool Identity: Network Service
PS AppPool Identity: "DOMAIN\PROJECTSERVICE"
Project Server Web Service URL: http://server:56737/SharedServices1/PSI/
Project Web Access (PWA) URL: http://server/pwa

Please help....

Hi Andy,

The url for the project server Web Service should be http://server:56737/SharedServices1
Also the account under which you are trying to configure the gateway
should have access to Project Server and be defined as a project
server user preferably an Admin
