conflict message, overwrite to remote file then server error

Have received conflict message several times when attempting to publish and
have used "overwrite to remote file" option sucessfully. Now the "overwrite"
option does not work as changes are not reflected on remote site. Also I
receive a "server error' message that references a specific file, but that
file name had changed through the course of my problem.

and the error message is? The error could explain why your updates do not
appear to take effect.

The Error message I rist received is as follows;

"Server Error the page (file name) has been modified by V2K17/"user name"
on 14 Aug 2006 19:38:43-0400".

Since then the Server Error message references anothe page, aliante_las_vegas

Per a conversation with customer service with my host sever I changed a
number of file names to eliminate any spacing between words. All those
changed files now appear in the window associated with the "conflict" message
I recieve when I first try to publish, indicating a conflict conflict between
local and remote sites. Thanks for your help.
